      Paulding Announces 404 Permit

      No Endangered Bats at Reservoir Site

      As the Paulding County Water System continues to work to prepare for construction of the Richland Creek Reservoir (RCR), protection of the environment is a primary consideration. In anticipation of the Northern long-eared bat being listed on the Endangered Species List along with the Indiana Bat, for the state of Georgia, Paulding County secured the assistance of bat specialists, Redwing Ecological Services (Redwing), to sample for the presence of these animals in the vicinity of the reservoir and pipeline construction sites.
